Outlet City is situated only 10 minutes from the Wellington CBD off State Highway 1, in the suburb of Tawa. If you are a visitor to Wellington, without transport, Outlet City can be reached by taking a train on the Kapiti line and getting off at Takapu Road, the first stop from Wellington. A 5 minute walk through a beautiful park and you are at Outlet City.

With over 500 FREE car parks, 30 shops catering for most needs. As well as having a Chipmunks Playland across the way, and cafes you can spend a great day shopping and walk away with some great fashion at a small price.

Outlet City is home to Wellington’s only Bendon Outlet store. Other stores within the Centre cater for a range of fashion needs, including: sportswear (adidas, New Balance, Lifestyle Sports, Fit4 and Puma) and women’s fashion with well-known brands such as Max Fashions, USA Direct, and Cotton On. Men are well looked after with high profile retailers such as Rodd & Gunn, Barkers and Scriber & Marks. We also have Brands Outlet store for all the Bonds clothing you are looking for and Cotton On Kids with a great range of girls, boys and baby clothes.

Our Services

Free Parking

Outlet City boasts over 400 free car parks. Our car park is under constant surveillance with on site guard performing regular patrols throughout the day and we now offer free parking to train commuters Monday to Friday. Parking for commuters using Takapu Station is located in the South West car park just off Main Rd, Tawa.

Food Courts and Cafes

Outlet City Food stores are perfect places to enjoy a meal after a busy session of shopping.

ATM Facilities

Outlet City provides a ATM machine situated in the middle of the complex. NZ ATM services all major Bank and Credit Card Types.

Additional Facilities

Outlet City has free wifi available throughout the complex. (NOT YET ACTIVE) We provide five dedicated disabled parking spaces and also have a wheelchair available for customer use. This is located by the Management Office. Outlet City also provides a caregivers/family room which has baby changing facilities, this is located in the Southwest corner beside the public toilets.

Credit Cards

All major Credit Cards are accepted (individual retailers discretion), and on site ATM accepts Visa and MasterCard.

Lost and Found Property

Any items found within the retail complex are handed into the Mall Management Office which is located on the first floor just inside the Main Entrance doors. In case of a lost child the parents can be located using the complex public address system.
